  1. Good morning everyone. I was told that I need to take Biotin for the hair loss that I am having. Can anyone help me out with how much I should be taking?
  2. I know the feeling!! That is exactly how I am right now!!
  3. I'm glad to see that I am not the only one losing the weight slowly. I was sleeved on Aug 11th and I am down about 40 pounds. I'm still happy though with the progress I've made up until this point. Keep up the hard work everyone!!
  4. So tonight I am having a panic moment. I am just now looking at my insurance EOB's for my surgery that they APPROVED. They didn't pay a thing. Looks like I will be on the phone with insurance all day tomorrow. Hopefully this issue gets resolved!!

  6. Questions ladies.... I am 28 yrs old. Since surgery my poor face breaks out as if I am a teenager in high school... This is driving me CRAZY!!! I'm curious to know if it has anything to do with my body changing from weight loss. Any thoughts??
  7. Hello everyone. It's been a little while since I posted. I was sleeved August 11th and I am down 35 total. I'm completely over eating salmon and tuna but am happy that I was able to start eating salad this week. So far everything is going great and I couldn't be happier that I made this decision. Keep up all the hard work ladies!!
  8. I don't drink milk based shakes. I guess I will give them a call. I told the NP last Tuesday that I have had days where I am nauseous but days where I am fine but she never addressed it.
  9. Today makes 5 wks post op.... I have been nauseous all weekend and it has carried on today. With that happening I am having a hard time getting in my protein and fluids... Anyone else having this problem??
  10. @@Karen Scott - hang in there... It will come!
  11. Okay ladies!! I stepped on the scale today and it looks like the stall I've been on for 3 wks is finally over... That is unless the scales were just playing with my emotions! ???? I will be so happy to have that stubborn stall behind me.
  12. I've grown to love chike protein... It's very tasty!
  13. @@Karen Scott - I have days where I get really close to it but like today for example... I might have had only 40 and that doesn't include the two 7 oz protein shakes I had today. I normally do 3 but I just am having a hard time today.
  14. I still can't drink the amount of fluid they want us to drink!
  15. @@Karen Scott - I was told to just keep doing what we are doing. I've also been told that this stall is perfectly normal and to just be patient and the weight will start coming off again. So with that being said.... I am just patiently waiting for this stall to go away. I have been in it for about 2 1/2 weeks.
  16. I've been stuck since after my first wk of surgery!
  17. I take 13 pills a day and I've been swallowing them while since the day I got home from surgery! I've had no problems. I just now I have to take them 1 at a time where as I used to could take a few at a time.
  18. Chike Protein is WONDERFUL. I did the premier protein shakes prior to surgery and I liked them a lot but once I tried the chike there was no way I could go back to premier protein. I am currently drinking the chocolate and vanilla and I also ordered the peanut butter chike powder to add to the choc shake which adds an additional 6 grams of protein to the already 28 grams that are in the shake.
  19. @@jelmore8312000 That is exactly how I am. My first week home after surgery was terrible. I completely wished I hadn't had it done. It was hard for me to do ANYTHING. I'm slowly getting better. I pushed myself hard today and made myself walk a little over 2 miles.... Now I am drained. I know it will get better with time so until then I am patiently waiting!
  20. Oh wow.... I'm ashamed I am having a hard time at a mile! Tomorrow morning this girl is going to push it!!! That's awesome you are doing 4 miles.
  21. How much exercise is everyone able to tolerate at this point. My surgery was August the eleventh and I barely have the energy to do a little over a mile.
  22. Congratulations!!! That's awesome!
  23. It has definitely made me feel better!! ????
  24. I was sleeved August 11th. I am currently at my 3 wk stall! I've lost a total of 23 pounds but thanks to my stall that is where I am stuck!
