  3. There is a new medication that helps people stop smoking.. it is a 3 month therapy,... I have a friend who started it less then a week ago and she, within 24 hours, could not stand the taste of a cigarette. Good luck!

  8. Ok so I posted this on the other board too, thought I would see what answer I get here. People keep saying to me that I won't be able to/I will have difficult climbing stairs (thus I need to stay with my mother for a few days instead of my house by myself) Did anybody have problems climbing stairs?   11. Once all of my info was received by the insurance company it took a whole 48 hours to get the surgery approved (my BMI is 53) I scheduled my surgery for 2 months later strictly because I am a teacher and didn't want to miss to many days with my lovely flowers. good luck!

  16. Hi all. I am so glad I found this place. My name is Kelly and I am schedulded to have my band on December 17th. I was terrified for about a week after I found out and in just the past week have really accepted that this is going to happen..... I am extremely anxious, nervous, happy... the whole range of emotions. My biggest anxiety is fear of the unknown.... maybe that is just because I will have had 10 weeks to think about it. I am so glad this is here for support!:clap2:
