I live in a small city in southern Georgia. I am having surgery in Jacksonville FL. I am hoping to connect with a couple of people in the region who have had the sleeve or are going to have the sleeve.

Hi, I am waiting for couple of final test before getting surgery date for the sleeve. I am wondering if there is anyone in the southern part of GA or northern part of FL who is having the surgery or have had the surgery. I would like to connect with someone in my area. My surgeon is in Jacksonville, 2 hours away.

Hi I turned 51 at the end of June. I am hoping for a Late September or early October date.

I am just beginning my journey. I was 433. The dr started me on a low carb diet about 2 weeks ago. I have lost 10lbs. It hasn't been as bad as I thought. I will have to step down to the pre op liquid diet two weeks before the surgery which won't be until Oct. I am glad to read about your experience. I have been concerned because I was over 400. My heaviest weight was 465. Thanks for sharing!
