I am so happy to hear that you did not have more pain with hiatal hernia repair. It does make me feel less scared about that. I pray that it will be the same for me. Thank you so much!
  4. My surgeons office told me to wash with antibacterial soap the night before surgery. Does anyone know if it is okay if it is scented too? Second, just supposed to be in the hospital for one night. Should I bring anything? Last question, My surgeon is also going to prepare my hiatal hernia. Do you think their is going to be more pain? Okay, one more question sorry. Can you tell me your experiences when you first woke up in recovery and your first few days home? Thank you all so much!

  16. Thank you so much.I will call them.I'm sorry I just rso much.I am hoping not to have to do the new sleep apnea test because they obviouslymitted the one I had in 2006 and insurance approved me anyway, thank you God
  17. Thank you so much.I feel better now.I am praying that since they already submitted my old sleep apnea paperwork and the insurance already approved me that I won't have to do another one.
  18. It's me again! So I called my insurance today and asked about the date on my approval letter. It was 11-24-2014.The lady from my insurance that it was my surgery date.I asked what happens if I do not have the surgery on that date? She said then I would have to start the process of submitting my paper work again for approval.I was confused.I haven't even received a phone call from my surgeons.I just found out I was approved Friday night through mail.I did not even know they submitted my paper work.My surgeon said he was going to wait for me to get a new sleep apnea test because my previous one was from 2006 and he thought I was going to be denied because it was to old.I also have diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure, and the sleep apnea.I heard someone say that the date was a dummy date they just had to give a date for an approval process.Besides there would hardly be enough time to do the 2 week liquid pre-op.Also what if you got sick and had to reschedule? This doesn't make sense.I am so worried about this.
  19. Thank you so much. You made me laugh.Congratulations on your journey you did awesome!
