  1. I chose the gastric sleeve because I needed something to help me stop over eating. I know that you have to be the one in control, but this will help control me! I also have been very sick, and am still sick. The gastric sleeve had less serious complications for me. I also feel it will aid me in a healthier relationship with food!
  2. I will say a prayer for you hun! Let me know what happens if you can sweetie.
  3. This may not be the healthiest but, I did fat free greek yogurt in the morning with banana mixed in and coffee. lunch was a small salad with fat free dressing only a little dressing serving size. dinner was cabbage stir fried with a little evoo and maybe 1 cup of brown rice. You can have as much cabbage as you want. No salt no sugar. Water to drink. I lost 6 pounds in 4 days. I di s for my last nutrition visit. Hope it helps sweetie!

  7. I don't think we can shut our brains off! All I have been thinking about is surgery. Cleaning the kitchen......surgery. Cleaning the bathroom....surgery. Even going to the bathroom..........surgery. oops! too much information! Good luck and let us know how you are when you can. Saying prayers! I have to be there at 6:15am for 7:30am surgery on Thursday. Now if I can just get my brain to shut off and stop think so much about the surgery. I just have a few more things to get together and I will be ready
  8. Good luck and I will say a prayer for you sweetie! Let us when you can, how you are doing? You got this girl! I have to be there at 6:15am for 7:30 surgery the day after tomorrow. Fingers crossed all goes well...
  9. The surgeons office told me that my surgery was scheduled for 10:00 a.m. and that I had to be at the hospital at 8:00 a.m. But at pre-admission testing at the hospital they said it could change. They would call the night before. The hospital is an hour and 15 minutes away. My family are going up Wednesday night to sleep at a hotel near the hospital.
  10. I have head hunger too. Nights are also the worst. That is when my girls are in bed and my cleaning is done. My husband and I like to catch up on our tv watching and snack! Yep, one last trip to the store yesterday after church. I picked up Iron pills that I didn't know I needed til last week. A food scale, popcicles, a couple Protein shots and protein gels to keep in my bag, a strainer for soup, I can't remember what else. I have been prepared for months then my surgery got schedule out about 4 months and it just knocked the air out of me. Anyway those were the lady couple things I hadn't picked up. I would like to have a pill crusher but it wasn't on my list so naturally I didn't remember it in my own ha. It's going to be a little hard to focus at work this week I think. As long as I can control this late evening head hunger for the more nights I should be good!
