  1. I wAs having issues with my BP being very high, he told me it was due to the pain and surgical meds. Had to increase fluids, should get at least 64 ounces per day. I purchased sugar free popsicles, they were a godsend! Sipped water every 15 to 20 minutes. Clear broth was ok as well. The gas is a monster, but it gets better after about one week. The gas alone caused me to cramp and think I was having a heart attack.....only walking every hour or so helped to eliminate it. Make sure you are walking frequently.
  2. I was told that protein, protein, protein helps deter hair loss. Of course you will have to drink between 60 and 70 grams of protein per day. But you may also want to invest in a good hair protein treatment. You will naturally shed a little hair right after the surgery (from all the meds).
  3. What specifically are you struggling with?
  4. Definitely call your doctor. I was having issues my first night home, I called, and my doc told me what to do. It does get better.
  5. Hi, I'm in the Atlanta area. Looking for a support group
