  4. I am almost 8 months post op and I lost 63lbs in total. It was a slow weight loss very gradually. Last night I had severe pain in my right upper quadrant and at the pit of my stomach. I went to the er where I was diagnosed with Gallstones. They said it was from eating fatty foods and rapid weight loss. I wouldn't consider my weight loss as rapid and I don't even eat fatty foods. Has anyone experienced this?
