  1. I was banded in November 2007 and immendiately lost 25 pounds before I had my first fill. I have had 3 fills and have lost a total of 34 pounds. It is a bit frustrating but I know it was the right decision and as much as would like to see it just fall off I know it needs to be a slow process. The one thing I have experienced also is that my neighbors, both the husband and wife, had gastric bypass and I see their immediate results (Husband 110 pounds and wife 95 pounds) and they had their procedure only 2 months ahead of me. You just have to remain focused on your goals and drive forward. Drink your water and walk, walk, walk and walk.
  2. Ashlee, congratulations to you and I know you will get along great. Bdavis
  3. Just got banded on November 14th and have lost 23 pounds so far. I feel great and am sleeping much better. My blood pressure is under control (126/78 at last check up). I had 23 staples and I have just gotten them removed. I had some trouble at first and had some doubts about what I have did but now I realize that it saved my life. Eating different will be a BIG adjustment for me because I have never given any thought to what I was doing and now I realize just how stupid I was. I look forward to losing more weight and enjoying time with my family.:clap2::clap2::clap2:
