  1. If anyone else has a fit bit let me know. We have a nice little group of sleevers and lapbanders for the weekly challenges which is a GREAT motivation for exercise. Hope everyone is having an awesome week!
  2. I invited you to the challenges I have going with some other Bariatric friends
  3. My goal is 6K...but I usually get in around 4-5K so don't feel bad. What's your username? I'll try to friend you. Or look me up-my email is rebeccaabrooks86@hotmail.com
  4. Do any of you have Fit Bits? I had a zip and just got the flex...if you have one let me know so we can form a group in the app and do the weekly step challenges!
  5. Can I update my weight for this week? I was retaining water yesterday...my right weight is 207.4,,,stayed the same
  6. Great Job on getting in 4 hours!!! I just joined a walking club in my town and signed up for a bootcamp class starting Friday. Unfortunately I keep going between 206-209. I'm thinking some of its muscle though because I've been really sticking to my exercise and diet. But it stinks to see the scale not move!
  7. Awesome you're almost below 300!!! Keep it up!!! That's amazing, good job!!!
  8. I think about 5 people are still reporting each week. I like the motivation too. I wish we had a spreadsheet but I don't have access to the Google docs. But I hope you keep up the good work. I'm happy that everyone finds it to be motivational and supportive.
  9. Congrats on your effort! Good job and keep it up!
  10. I got in around my goal of 5 hours this week. Still struggling with my stall between 206-209 however was thrilled to fit into a new size 14 pair of jeans! So I'd consider this week to be good, still think I'm losing inches. Also bought myself a new Pilates DVD to use in my spare time at home along with my stationary bike- we'll see how it is! Congrats to everyone for doing so well!
  11. So far this week I've almost made my goal of 5 hours but today I went out shopping and I bought TWO PAIRS OF SIZE 14 JEANS!!!!!!! When I got my surgery I was a 24 so this was a BIG accomplishment! Just felt like sharing it!
  12. Awesome!!! I got on the scale this morning and it said 206.2! Finally broke my 208-209 stall!!!Hey guys I'm feeling down because I've done 3 hours of exercise so far but my eating hasn't been the best and I got on the scale this morning and I went from 206.2 to 207.6 in need of support. I really need my eating to get back on track. Good news is I'm planning to hit up the gym today.I know how frustrating that can be, especially when you are putting in the exercise. It has happened to me a few times as well. Your gain could be due to food choices, but it can also be from Water retention, muscle growth, lack of bowel movements, etc. Just remember this is a lifelong journey and some weeks will be better and some weeks worse. Stay the course and you'll keep doing great!! I believe in you! Thank you so much. And I've done almost 4 hours of exercise so far. I also am using Weight Watchers to help with my diet and I weighed in the same as last week at my meeting this week so I was happy with that. It wasn't a gain. I'm determined to get in at least 5 hours of exercise by Monday! Thanks again for all your support! And everyone here is doing so good, I'm so proud of our exercise challenge!

  15. This morning the scale said 207.4 so I'm hoping I broke my stall!!!
  16. Can I update my weight for this week? Weighed in today at 207.4
  17. This week I did 7 hours of exercise beating my 5 hour goal!!! I am at a stall around 208. We had a blizzard here in jersey with 2.5 feet of snow so my yoga studio is shut down but I'm going to try to make it to the regular gym for a circuit class this week and keep working to break the stall. Hope everyone had a great week...keep up the good work!!!
  18. 208.6 for tomorrow a couple ounces up..boo
  19. 143 today. The dog died last week. ???? I ate my feelings. Back on track now. So sorry, I know how painful that is xoxo
  20. You're probably gaining muscle. Also are you watching calories? Because things high in protein can tend to be high in calories. If you haven't already check out the app My Fitness Pal and start tracking your exercise and food. Don't give up. It WILL come off! Also the scale is not everything. See how your clothes are fitting, etc. You can do this!
  21. Everyone is doing AMAZING!!!! Good job guys!!! Today I went to yoga for an hour and fifteen minutes then went to the gym and did the treadmill for 45 minutes. Hoping I can get in about 5 hours this week.
  22. Weighed myself today...down 1 lb to 208.4...can feel Onederland approaching!
  23. This week I hardly exercised at ALL! Maybe an hour! I'm scheduled to go to yoga 4 hours next week and made time to go walk at the park and I'm down 1 lb (208.4) so let's hope next week is better!
  24. Update: I won't be around for about the next week so if you don't hear from me that's why! But everyone keep up the great work and check ins!! Much love ~ Rebecca
