I was allowed to get back in the pool at 2 weeks. No drain for me either. I had no problems.

I am only 2 weeks post op so I haven't experienced this yet. But was told to expect it. I was told the hair loss is due to the fact that we are basically on a starvation diet. It is our bodies response to slow the growth of hair to conserve energy.

I had surgery on the 15th also. I gained 8 lbs. when I got out of surgery. That finally came off and yesterday morning I got up and had lost 6 lbs. overnight! I am down 2 more lbs this morning. Be patient! It's gonna happen for you soon. I have heard from my local support group it takes a couple of weeks to kick in, and then it takes off!

Hi. I had surgery 7/15/14. Doing great. But I have a question, I have a round lump under and around the 3 inch incision site. I'm afraid it could be a hernia. Anyone else experiencing this?

I know my doctors recommend 30 minutes of exercise 4-5 days a week. And you should be able to carry on a conversation while exercising, don't get winded. They say if you over exercise it can slow your weight loss.
