Surgeons office just called....scheduled for Thursday 1pm. Getting nervous. No pre op diet, just NPO after midnight tomorrow. So excited!!

I too called my insurance co. (BC/BS) they told me I'm approved, waiting for the Dr's office to call and schedule me. They said last week it should be scheduled on the 28th of August. Hope that's true and they are not just telling me that because I'm a pain in their butt! Good Luck to you :-)

I finally got through to Florida BC/BS. They said it was submitted to the correct place and that it's undergoing review. Hopefully will hear good news soon! I'm soooo ready for this!! :-)

Thanks for the replies, I tried to get through to BC/BS several tines, but each time I get disconnected. Bad omen?? I have dual residencies, living in Florida where my Dr is and Pa where my husband is until his retirement, this is where my EOB's go.

Have Federal BC/BS, called this am for a status check on preop and was told no record of any request from my surgeon, I called the surgeon's office only to be told that they were told my paperwork needed to go to Florida BC/BS. The dr's office submitted on Tuesday, so now it's wait ...... Can't log onto Florida BS/BS site because my id starts with a R . Anybody have this problem? I don't even know if I'm making sense ..... I just wish I had a phone # to check status waiting is KILLING me!

. Recheck with your ins. I thought it was 6 mths also, but they changed the requirement in Jan. to 3 mths. I was thrilled!

good luck! Drs office submitted my paperwork on Friday, I called federal bs/bs to make sure it was submitted they said it takes 24 hours to download into system. Will call again today. Can't wait!
