Confused Jill

I have been overweight most of my life. I was bullied in school because of my weight. Over the past year I have been doing research about weight loss surgery. About 6 months ago I have finally decided to put my foot down and finally do something for me. My insurance company requires a pre-approval process that takes up to 6 and can go for 2 years before they approve the surgery. If I have the surgery before I have been authorized I can pay a penalty.

I have decided to go with the sleeve because a lot of people I have talked to who have had the by pass surgery has needed blood transfusions and I don't want to go through that.

I keep going back and forth in my head wondering if I making the right move. I have been looking for a support group in my area for sometime but there aren't any. I came across this web site doing some research and figured what do I have to lose.
