July 20th here. I am down about 20 lb. Had a fill but after a week...had to have some taken out. Said I was very sensitive....my fills will be small each time. Feeling great now.

I was banded by Dr. Spiegel on July 20. I also have UHC. If I am remembering correctly, the dr. office knew that the surgicenter was out of network and I would have to have it at the hospital. I knew this myself already because my husband was banded a year ago. I hope everything works out for you. Good Luck!

I just had my first fill today also. Dr. went for 1.4cc but I couldn't get the Water down. So I had two unfills before it went down without a problem. Not sure what I am filled to now...but just glad to have that done. Have a great day!

Congrats Mandy! Glad they took care of you. I enjoy waking up in the mornings (even though I am still not sleeping too great) and thinking....today I will feel a little better than yesterday. I am taking things slow and easy. Hope you have a good weekend! Susu

Hi DeLarla Thanks. Susu is what my grandkids call me because they have 3 grandmothers. They are sweethearts....Alex- almost 11 and Emily-7. They just moved to England in February. Son is working there for 2 years. Made the trip in April and will be going back again in September. Oops, guess that was not about banding Colleen - My hat is off to you for making it half a day. I am retired and glad that I don't have to do that part right now. I have a couple of tops that have builtin bras...but sleeveless. Not the height of fashion with large arms. Today I went to the store braless. They will just have to live with it because one of my incisions is right where the bottom of the bra hits. Not going there yet. Hope everyone has a good evening and even better day tomorrow.

Congrats and you do sound like you are doing good! Hmmmm...I see people posting so many days post op...(dumb question) do you count the day of surgery also? I have been doing good also until I had too many crushed pills in too much applesauce and ate too fast this morning. Yep....I know the feeling now. Hope everyone has a great week!

Good morning Lu Ann I really never had too much thought about age because I still feel young... (well maybe not today) My PCP just kept saying lose the weight...lose the weight....so here I am. Hope you will have a good day today! Prayers for those being banded today.

Lu Ann I will second the glad it is over! That was a nice thing for them to do...giving you a journal. One of my red hat friends brought me a journal today. Colleen...I so agree on the tall bed and sleeping on back - I have that too! I am a toss and turner...but you definitely know when to stay put! I work up this morning and found that they had left one of the ekg deals on me. Obviously didn't bother me at the time... Glad you are doing good. Susan
