  1. I started the process at Duke in Oct 07 and am still waiting. Lots of hoops to jump through and I think the admin staff is just so very overwhelmed!
  2. If you think that is bad, get this..........I went for my 1st consult on FEBRUARY 20th and still haven't heard!!! Duke is so slow and doesn't bother to let patients know what is going on or what the hold up is. Try to email or call them and get no response. Too bad they are the only people in the area that offer this. It might be worth me driving to Charlotte! Lisa
  3. The whole process has taken WAY longer than I had expected. I went to my informational in Oct and finally got a 1st clinic visit in Feb. It is now April and I am still waiting to hear when my 2nd visit is. Thankfully I have all of my test done. Apparently they are waiting for the ditcation from my 1st clinic visit to come back so the surgical team can meet........the other day the office staff told me that it takes 4-6 weeks for dictation! Guess they are swamped..........I can't wait much longer!!!!!
