  1. You would have to qualify for each condition.
  2. With FMLA you have a total of 480 within a rolling year, which means everyday you can get another day back if you took time off at the same time last year. So go back and calculate how many hours you have missed, so that you know exactly how much time you have actually used. When I had my surgery I was back at work the following week but I have a desk job, so it might be different for you. Also, after my surgery I did not experience any pain so working was not an issue.
  3. congrats to all of the September sleevers. My sleeve was done September 1st and all is well. I read a post that said they splurged this past weekend with there husband and only need to do a clear liquid diet a couple of days before her surgery. I thought that too, but when I did my research I discovered that it should really be two weeks on clear liquids diet. But that time period had pasted for me, so I did a clear liquid diet the week before surgery. I have a girl friend and she and I went through this journey together. She only did the clear liquid for two-days before her surgery and her liver was much larger than mine and her surgery was longer because of it. I would suggest at least do the clear liquid for one week before the surgery. Just my two cents...... Good luck to ALL....
  4. I was sleeved September 1st and oddly I felt no pain from the surgery. However I had the worst acid reflux and one of my incisions opened today which was scary.
