  1. So I'm scheduled for my gastric sleeve surgery on November 26 and I've had all my preop testing I'm on my liquid diet and I get a call from my surgeons office saying that I needed another EGD. They recommend me to this doctor by chance he has an opening just for a first-time an appointment the next day. I see him and he was telling me wow I don't think I can do anything for you so he calls and his secretary to see what he has for Monday and he luckily had one cancellation and fit me right in, thank goodness.I was almost discouraged but I kept pushing and praying and hoping and like my husband told me things that you want, really want do not come easy. So for all experiencing loopholes and disappointments remember what you want never comes easy so keep fighting keep pushingand keep your eyes on that prize... Good luck to all my fellow Sleever's preop and postop and here's to hoping all our goals come through.
  2. I was in transitionfor two weeks up to November 19 and that's when I started my liquid diet I'm on day three and think I'm going crazy the broth helps but there's really no variety that I like, jello helps better as for the sugar-free ice pops they are okay but it's freezing where I'm at so I'm not really in the mood for ice pops. Going back to the vitamin shop so to switch up my protein powder variety going to go get some fruity flavors and see what else I can't mix with water and/or milk.
  3. I feel you I'm very afraid to but I have confidence in my surgeon I'm thinking what if I don't change my eating habits and what if I fail at this miserably I've been started to change my main eating habits also by putting Protein first and everything else second. I'm having surgery on 26 November and i'm officially one week pre op.
  4. Anybody have any other varieties of them not so fruity kind. I'm looking to switch up my liquid diet with some clear liquids that aren't fruity maybe with vegetable broth beef broth something that I won't get bored of trying. Anybody out there please help.
