  1. Wow. I wish you well on your journey. I am not scheduled for an EGD. My surgeons and the surgeons in his group do not do them routinely. Now that I've made the decision, I wish mine was sooner too. September 18th will be here before you know it.

  3. Hi, I am on the journey to preparing for surgery. I've had dietician visits, psychiatrist visit and attended support groups. I will see the surgeon in a couple weeks and hope to set my surgery date for November 3rd, or somewhere around there. I am exploring food processers and small blenders etc for shakes and purees. What brands/types would you recommend? Also, I am extremely excited about the possibilities ahead of me and at the same time I am pretty anxious and nervious. How are you all managing your emotions as you lead up to surgery? Thanks, MarieW
