  1. I still this day eat turkey, cranberry and mayonaise sandwiches! Occasionally, I put stuffing on it! I guess I won't be eating that if all goes well!!

Go to maccosmetics.com. It's higher end make-up only sold in the better department stores.

You can use a bronzer as a highlighter or as an all-over powder. Depending on the shade of bronzer, it can make you look slightly sun-kissed or baked- in- the- sun- tan.

Revlon makes a good Blush/highlighter called Skinlights. It's a cream-style blush. Great colors! I like Sunny. Goes on very smooth!
  5. Pringles crumbled and sprinkled on ice cream. ANYTHING dipped in Ranch Dressing...... ONCE, I ate a cake mix...right out of the box, with a spoon. MMMM...Devil's Food Cake.....

I am truly a girly-girl when it comes to make-up. I LOVE it. I probably have at least 30 lipsticks/glosses!! (another addiction, maybe?) Lately, I have taken to wearing a really light foundation, Loreal Cashmere Perfect. It's very light and after applied it dries to a powdery finish. I do use a a very light bronzer, but I am pretty tan. So if you're not a sun worshipper...stay away from the bronzers, or you'll be looking like a pumpkin from the neck up!!!!!! My absolute favorite place to get any other cosmetics is from MAC. You would have to go to a major department store for that. Or order on-line. I had a make-over done by their sales-person and HE did an excellant job!! Very natural. Anyways....they have the BEST Lipsticks/Lip Glosses!! They taste good, and they stay on.
  7. Oh, I love Queer Eye! I've been watching Hell's Kitchen. I really don't know what to say about that, except it's so bad, it's good! Kept on VH-1 is amusing. Like Jerry Hall needs any help getting a man......
  8. Yes Jenn, the seminar is with Rehnke and Grossbard. I feel better that someone here has heard of them and has positive feedback on them. From their website it appears that they've done quite a few bands. Is that who you went through?
  9. Just out of curiosity, are the people that are going to Mexico for the surgery, doing so because they're self-paying? And I assume it's a lot cheaper there than it is here.
  10. Well, I'm going to a seminar with Dr. Rehnke and Dr. Grossbard on 7/19.
  11. Hi Alex, I actually checked my policy last night, and it was amended to include weight loss surgeries as of 1/2005. That's about all I understood whith all the goobledy-gook insurance talk! And I work for Allstate! haha!! My BMI was 39.43
  12. Anyone with Aetna HMO that have been approved?
  13. Thanks for being so welcoming. I'm going to a Lap-Band info seminar on July 19th locally here in Pinellas County FL. Everybody's positive outlooks and postings have really made me more encouraged to proceed.
  14. I can't stop watching Pimp My Ride.......There I've finally said it and I feel good about it!
  15. Greetings! My name is Karin, and I'm just doing some reading up on getting banded. I'm 5' 5" and 240lbs.My BMI is like 39.43. I haven't been able to keep ANY significant weight off for long periods of time for years. I'm tired and frustrated with WW and the not even losing a pound every 2 weeks thing. UGH! This will be my 3rd trip down the WW path in 5 years. Not to mention the various Atkins and South Beach aattempts! Anyways enough about that. I'm looking forward to picking everyone's minds and hopefully getting to know y'all better! Thanks for listnening!
  16. I'm researching any information I can possibly get in reference to getting banded and just want to know if anyone in my area has had the surgery, what Dr. did they use and how it went. Thanks!
