  13. I think it will make my weight loss healthier and more successful. Haven't been this excited about an app before.
  14. So, I am 6 weeks post- op and thinking I was handling my eating fairly well - How wrong I was. today I downloaded the My Fitness Pal app and entered my food for the day - OMG - I was severely underestimating my calories and protein intake . No wonder I am not feeling energetic, am losing weight slowly and am always tired. I recommend this app to all sleevers so that you get an accurate picture of what you are putting into your body and can adjust your diet accordingly. It even calculates the percentages for carbs, protein, sugars etc as well as a Calorie counts.
  15. I have started eating protein food - moist, grilled or baked chicken, thinly sliced beef, scrambled eggs, hummus, tuna, baked fish.....I can barely stomach ten protein shakes..... And so tired of yogurt and cottage cheese. I do eat beans even though it is a carb. I love savoury things not sweet things - Thanks for replying - I appreciate hearing from someone who is at the exact same stage as me.
  16. I was sleeved on June 29th and am down 27 pounds. I still struggle with drinking enough water and getting enough protein. I hate artificial sweeteners, so finding a protein mix or remade smoothie/ drink is almost impossible. How is everyone else doing? I would love to hear.
  17. Thank you for replying. It seems to be getting worse for me as well. I am seeing my family doctor this week for something. I had my surgery in Mexico so my surgeon emails me and phones but I have to see a family doctor here. I hope this does not last.
  18. So, I am two weeks post-op and really struggling with heartburn and indigestion. I have never had this in my life before the sleeve. My surgeon is recommending Losec - I am fearful I will need it forever and am reluctant to start it. The list of possible side effects sounds terrible. Any insights here? Please?
  19. I was sleeved on June 29th in Guadalajara, Mexico. So, only 12 days post- op, but feeling happy I did it. I am in Edmonton.

  21. 8 days post-op and feeling tired of heartburn. I never ever had heartburn before surgeyr, so am really hoping this disappears and quickly. I miss eating. Sipping slowly is strange, too. Scared I will have hair loss.
