I'm gonna buy prune juice and try it because the only way mine are moving is magnesium citrate. I'm glad this question was asked.

I had surgery August 14th and I'm having the same issue. I do benefiber but like you, it's too much of a hassle. So when it doesn't move within 3 or 4 days I get magnesium citrate. I do half of the bottle with water behind it then the other half about 4 hrs later. I start going within an hour of taking.

I will be getting banded on this coming Thursday. I've picked up my Gas-X strips, got liquid Vitamins, broth, Jello, popsicles, Water, tea, crystal light. Also prepared my living room for me to camp out there a couple of days since I have recliners there. Got Power of Attorney signed in case my daughter needs to do business for me as well. And got the heating pad that goes around you neck and rest on your shoulders. Can anyone let me know if I may be forgetting anything or give me some tips on realistically what to expect?

I haven't had my band yet. I get it done next month. I'm so glad to have run across your post since I have already started feeling alone in my journey. It isn't because people around me don't support me but I don't think they really know HOW to support me. Though I feel misunderstood in this choice, it has not deterred me one little bit and I'm still excited about the prospect of being a new me. Thank you for this post. It has truly, truly made my day. I will print it and keep it to read over and over again!!!

Wonderful, you are on your way! I can't say that I'm looking forward to the pre-op diet but I'm surely looking forward to getting off the Water pill for hypertension, less knee pain, lower A1C and getting my life back again.

I'm also scheduled for that procedure thru true results in Houston. Yes I have Cigna as well. My procedure to see if I have the hernia is July 28th. I'm super excited to start the journey to a better me. Please let me know how it went for you. Good luck tomorrow!
