CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this normal? My surgery is Monday. The last week I am sad and crying over everything. I'm going through a divorce too so that doesn't help. The ONLY 2 people that know are my ex-husband and boyfriend of 2 years. I'm now regretting telling them. I don't want anyone to go with me to the hospital. I want to just go and be alone. I'm hoping I am just having pre-op jitters or something. Anyone else experience this?

THERE IS HOPE!!! My surgery was denied too. The peer to peer was denied as well. I was supposed to have surgery in January. An appeal hearing was set for February 2 states away! I was beyond upset! Well, I guess after they received my letter and copies of my records they overturned the decision! I literally started crying at work when I got the call. My surgery is MONDAY!!!! Hang in there! Write a letter explaining all the problems you've had with the band. Best of luck to you!

21 days?? WOW. I'm going to stop whining NOW. I am on day 8 of 14. My surgery is Monday March 2. The first 4 days were torture. I cried over everything. I just wanted to bite something! sugar free Jello helped a lot . Also, I am allowed to have broth . I put a ton on onion and garlic in it and it's not bad. When I just can't take it anymore I go to bed. I have gone to bed early every night. Hand in there ! You are so close! You can do this!

You all just made me feel better. My 2 week pre-op diet is liquids ONLY ( 6 shakes) I am on day 2 and in tears. Will insurance pay for damages or my bail money?
