  1. I started with my appointments yesterday with the pulmonary Dr they will schedule a sleep study and have a whole bunch of other appointments. Hopefully I will get approved fast my bmi is actually 37.5 so they are working on finding the co morbilities. I talked to the insurance company and she told me if I had gerd and arthritis I could be approved they just have to prove that it's affecting my health.

Hi Angel, well I also have horizon nj health I just started my process with Dr. Patel at cooper bariatrics so I haven't been approved yet but I can tell you a cousin of mine had the same insurance and it only took her a few months to get her surgery day. How far along are you I'm the process now?
