  1. No it's not mandatory but I feel like I needed to go. They told me it wouldn't effect my surgery date. Thanks!
  2. Oops I posted this like three times.. Sorry I'm new.. Lol. She generally is in my surgeons office but she's on vacation. So his office gave me a paper with the basic guideline but it's vague.
  3. So my nutritionist has taken a vacation and I'm scheduled to begin my two week liquid pre-op diet tomorrow. Usually my appointments refresh my motivation, and I really needed this appointment because I'm feeling extremely overwhelmed as it is. I have a basic guideline listing full liquids: hot cereals, cream soups, yogurt, pudding, custard, milk, sherbet. And clear liquids. But it doesn't say if I do full liquids for a week and switch, or what to do. Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated! What did you eat... I mean drink during this diet?
  4. So my nutritionist canceled my appointment to discuss my two week pre-op diet I'm scheduled to start tomorrow..

  6. My surgery is August 7th in Gainsville, Fl.
  7. Hello! I just set my surgery date for August 7th! So many mixed emotions. My doctor requires I lose 15 pounds to shrink the liver before surgery and a two week liquid diet. I don't have a scale at home so I'm not sure how much I've lost yet (fingers crossed). Ill have to be really careful, I'm traveling across the country right before I start my liquid diet.. Good luck to all my fellow sleevers!
