  1. @Ky89. Are you having surgery in Japan or US?
  2. @Noragretz. I arranged for someone to drop me in front of the hospital on the morning of surgery and the same person came back and picked me up the next day. I simply said I was having a procedure. He asked no questions and I didn't volunteer any info. He also took me to get my pain meds on the way home. I actually walked into the pharmacy myself while he stayed in the car. The hospital would not allow you to go home alone.
  3. Nope, you are not the only one. I happily told zero people and I'm so glad. I don't have the stress of anyone looking at my progress and asking for updates. This is not a show, it's my life. The two people I would've shared this with, is no longer on this earth. BTW, at my pre op appt the nurse asked who would be with me on the day of surgery and I told her no one. I then told her no one new I was having the surgery. I asked her if she had anyone besides me not tell anyone. She replied " several".
  4. @@della street. OMG! How horrible. I'm so sorry you had to experience that. Your story had me right there in the room with you, then in your car sobbing. Hopefully, you will never have to endure this type of humiliation EVER again.
  5. Have you considered putting in for a transfer and just getting a new start? It maybe for the best. You sound unhappy with not much recourse there. Sometines we just have to get a fresh start. All the best.
  6. I TOLD NOT ONE SINGLE ALIVE PERSON. YEAH!!!!!!!!
  7. Unjury unflavored is 90cals and 21 gramsvof protein per scoop.
  8. @Cococat." Restricted" as in limited capacity to eat as much? At least I think that's what she maybe referring to. Just my two cents. I could be wrong.
  9. I'm just impressed with the 6 miles a day 6 days after surgery.
  10. Lord knows I hope so also. Sorry about the previous rant, but I just needed to vent about this situation.
  11. Well, you stated you don't know why you are gaining and you also stated you are trying yo get back on track. So, you probably do know why you are gaining. Now just work on the getting back on track part. Get a nutritionist maybe, and get some help with an eating plan. Or go back to the basics and treat your sleeve like you just got it. Don't let depression set in while you do nothing. You will most likely eat the weight back online and that would be tragic after all the hard work you have done. Get motivated and get some help.....fast. Best.
  12. I'm three months out and it has not ended yet! I find this issue annoying, agitating, embarrassing, and downright ridiculous. Because for me, its not just when I eat. It's when I drink, eat, don't eat, whem I'm in bed trying to sleep. It just never ends. Also, unlike you, I don't burp outright a lot. I wish the burp will come out, because it would be a release. It stops in my throat and makes these loud ridiculous noices! UGH!
  13. Prune juice, with the pulp, at 10pm before I go to sleep. A full glass, don't dilute with water. Well, it works for me. Best.
  14. Well what are you eating for snacks? Still a solid item, right? Or are you having soup with no solids? I was simply told no eating and drinking at the same time. It was not defined. Simply no eating and drinking. Maybe someone else has a better answer. Best.
  15. @pinkbunies. For me jealousy is not a turn on. That person has a problem with himself/ herself and projects on the other person. My X husband was irrationally jealous and we are now divorced. He made my life miserable by accusing me of being involved with everyone; the attendant at the laundromat, the person remodeling the kitchen, the person looking into our car from their car. It's not caring, it's control and insecurity. I would find myself in the middle of a huge argument defending myself about not being involved with these strangers. Crazy! And no, this man never had any reason to believe I was ever, in anyway, unfaithful in our marriage. There was a 12 year age difference and I believe that may of been the basis for a lot of his issues. That and he was cheated on in the previous relationship. Either way it was his issues. I was not flattered in any way. I was sad and angry. Just my two cents.
  16. So how did it go? Had a great sleep I bet. @#9grammy. Hopefully, I you are not in much pain and on your way to a speedy recovery. Best.
  17. 3 pounds, 2pounds, 1pound and 0pounds!
  18. @finediva. Correction. * as it is*
  19. It's garbage. Why would I put it in my body? I don't have a plan as any kind of processed, fake, no valuable nutrition foods are simply not a part of my food choices. I can barely make my grams of protein and water as itvis. Interestingly though, my children used to go trick a treating and enjoyed getting all that candy, but rarely ate much of it. After a few days I would take it to my job and within mins it would be all gone.
  20. @katieboo. But why do you feel embarrassed?
