  1. I had a similar feeling (feeling like I had a massive vitamin pill stuck!) and spoke to my surgeon. He advised as long as my liquids weren't coming back up (which they weren't) it could be; 1) my esophageus was swollen and getting used to the band 2) when I had the anaesthetic and they put the tubes down the throat the esophageus could have become bruised. Both subside with time.:clap2: It's always best to check with your surgeon
  2. Hey Mandi 1. I take a liquid multi (Hivita) but I am sure as long as you chew them properly or even suck them it will be fine. You could even get a pill crusher and crush them.....I have been doing that with my hayfever drugs and mixing it in with a bit of juice! 2. My incisions started to scab by about the 2nd day. I am almost a week out of surgery now and I am due to have the staples removed tomorrow. I just have a thin line of scabbing but some swelling still. I have had no troubles with my incisions and even sleep on my tummy with care! 3. I start mushies 2 weeks after surgery (so next week!) for a period of 2 weeks. This varies from dr to dr and even country to country. Hope this helps..........Lindy
  3. Hey y'all I was banded almost a week ago and have been perfect with the exception of gas:eek: but have continually had the swallowed pill feeling. I am on full liquids at this stage so it isn't stuck food! Is this normal? I would like to hear others experiences with this! Cheers, Lindy JC
