  1. I have only had one fill, my dr is very conservative..2cc's in a band that holds 8-10cc's. My second fill is december 18th. For my first fill I went right to work afterwards, no pain. The procedure did not hurt at all. Not much restriction after the first few days (because of swelling) so until fills #2 and #3, It's all pretty much up to me. Vanessa
  2. Holly, please include me in your oct.bandsters. I had my date with destiny on oct. 9th. Vanessa. Thanks l
  3. kele Kana I was given suppositories in the hospital(dulcolax) to help with the gas. You can try it if its ok with your doctor. Also, I was sick of hearing you have to move more but guess what, it really does help. I take 2 gas x's at a time, one won't cut it. Good Luck Vanessa
  4. I was banded on 10/9. I suffered with the shoulder pain, the heating pad seemed to work. I still feel very bloated and with gas, despite have several bowel movements(diarrhea) I am walking a lot. Went out today, walking felt good but had to go to bathroom at grocery store. My mom told me to wear a girdle for abdominal support during the bloated phase, seems to help somewhat. I heard of a patient done the same time as me is out golfing already. I am reminding myself, as we all should that each of us is different and will be ok when it's time for us to be ok.. Hang in there, it will be worth it.
