I live in Loganville and I will be sleeved on 11.10.14. I'm a wife and the mother of a 4 yr. old son. Excited for this new adventure, but still so very nervous. :-)

Hi Shelly...I just went on July 2nd. It was pretty basic. General conversation, but I had like 600 question and answer sheet I had to complete. He said that he can't keep someone from having the surgery...he's just there to make sure that once it's completed that you have the best chance of success.

Hi, I am a newbie too. I don't have a surgery date, Hope to have it scheduled the last week of October or the first week in November. Let's see things I've done... I went to a seminar Initial consult (determined sleeve would be best) I had an upper GI per my surgeons request (checking gall bladder before & after) Received clearance from primary care doc Received clearance from cardiologist Saw the pulmonary specialist he's ordering a sleep study for me (no word yet) Met with my fitness coach Met with my nutritionist once, have 2 more visit Just had my mental evaluation July 2 So....is this standard for everyone? Looking for friends to walk beside me on this journey. I'm here for you. Thanks.....oh and my name is Kelly
