Help- I was banded 11-9-07 and have only lost 24 lbs...I need about 50-60 more to be really healthy! I have not lost any more since first of year. I am getting a 3rd fill this week and am hoping it will control me. You would think at 53 I would be in control! I need to get back on the bandwagon with both feet! I think I'll start back on this site, and will do a journal. Wish me luck!

Wonderful & helpful!! I was a 11-9 band, with a 1cc fil 4 weeks later. I feel more hunger than I expected even still. Maybe it's mental obsession!

I had 11-9 surgery date, out of town, so I feel "out of the loop!" I had a fill 12-10, but only 1cc. I get full sooner, but hungry too soon. What are you eating. I'm confused by all the food lists! Isnt it common "Diet sence"?

Dr. Weiner is doing mine on Nov 9th. Tell me anything I need to know...that no one told you!!!

I am scheduled with Dr.Weiner at Harper Nov 9th. He called twice from his cell phone to talk "Pre-Surgery" I was SO IMPRESSED!!! i AM sooooo EXCITED. hOW YOU DOING???

I will be looking for fills near St.Louis. Fill USA has one in southern Missouri (1.5 hrs away), and they run this referral group. Anyone had any good or bad success with them?

Is the RX included in the cost of the surgery? I'm self-pay.

I am scheduled Nov 9th for surgery-self pay. My husband will have no car, many places around the area he can eat at...or excercise? How bad will I feel following days after?

I'm set. Nov 9th in Detroit from St.Louis! I need to find a protein drink I can abide for only 1 week pre-op. Surgery is on a Friday...plan on going back to work Monday...hope it works!

Why nervous? Helloo....how many of us eat in social situations (everyone)? How many of us love that high calorie celebration food? How many of us used those situations to reward ourselves? Here will be one of the most challenging for anyone re-working their life/eating habits! I go Nov 8-11 in Detroit.
