  1. Has anyone out there had Dr. Colin Macoll at Sacred Heart Medical in Springfield, Oregon? I've only met him once.
  2. I'm having surgery on November 12th too. My insurance was approved and I am under my weight goal, but I notice the closer I get to surgery the more scared I am getting. Don't get me wrong, I want the surgery, but I'm afraid I won't do it right when I get home. I want to do it perfect, but I am afraid of screwing up. Also, I'm afraid of how my life will change. I don't know how to be thin. I've never been thin, except when I was seven. I do know I've tried everything and I've lost weight several times only to regain it and more. I'm doing this for health reasons I'm in constant physical pain, I am borderline diabetic and just plain sick of being sick because of my weight. Did anyone out there have fear before their surgery? Did your thoughts ever stop going all over the place?
  3. Hi, I am 65 and due to have a Gastric Sleeve very soon. I have questions about my Doctor. I have read good reviews and bad reviews and wondered if there was an agency I could go to that would be able to accurately rate him. What kind of success rate does he have or if I should just ask him directly. Naturally, I am scared and I'm trying to get as much information as I can. Can anyone out there help me? Thank you so much!
  4. I went to my Bariatric Surgeon and left feeling discouraged. I have had IBS for a number of years, but have it under control now. He said that after surgery it will probably be worse. Did any of you with the Gastric Sleeve experience that? http://maps.google.com/maps/api/staticmap?center=44.082449,-123.328223&zoom=14&markers=44.082449,-123.328223&size=400x300&sensor=true
