  2. Hi everyone. I was wondering if ANYONE out there had edema in their feet and or legs weeks after surgery. I haven't had any IV fluids for almost 2 weeks now, and my feet/ankles/legs are swollen. I can still walk, exercise on them which is great, but it seems ever since I had IV fluids 2 weeks ago I'm swollen. Gained 7 lbs Water weight last week, now 3 came off, but legs and tummy seem to be retaining some water. What may be part of the problem is that I am due for my period in the next few days. I get that about my tummy feeling water logged.. But I feel like I'm gaining weight and I'm just a bit irritated about it honestly. I get I'm PMSing, but for 2 weeks my legs and tummy are swollen? I hope this isn't some new PMS symptom of mine! Lol Can someone pleaaaaase tell me something. Is it in my head? Bc I'm getting discouraged. ???? im on soft foods, fish, cheese, tofu only as directed.

  10. Good evening all! Ramona here...about to have RNY surgery coming up 7/17/14 God willing! Definitely am thankful, as I was supposed to have surgery 3/19...but an ulcer detected before in and EGD decided otherwise. Everything happens for a reason and that's ok. Current weight is 336, starting my 2 week liquid preop diet on 7/3! Nice to meet the group!
  11. Loved the video! I love YouTube. You can do and find anything on there...if u want you can check me out on there too at Mona Mee. You totally read my mind bc I was just telling friendni needed to look up what to bring so I can start gathering my items... 7-17-14 is coming up fast!
  12. I was supposed to have surgery 3/19, but an ugly esophageal ulcer decided to mess it up and after a heavy does of Protonix (which I'm still taking) it cleared it up and now 7/17 is my day, God willing! Nice to meet you all :-) Mona

  17. Unjury has an unflavored whey protein. It's virtually tasteless to me. I add it to soup, or broth. Also sugar free Jello too
  18. I'll have to try that!! Been looking for a good strawberry protein.

  21. I had to have an endoscopy first, and I'm thankful I did. They found out I had a large ulcer that needed to be treated before I could even be rescheduled for surgery. I was supposed to have surgery 3/19. Also I was going to have the sleeve, but because that same endoscopy also showed that my GERD was worse than we thought, I switched to a gastric bypass bc it may actually help my acid reflux possibly and I will be having that surgery God willing 7/17. ☺️
  22. I also like Premier Protein all flavors. Also the Atkins dark chocolate and vanilla shakes. ☺️
  23. The Unjury chocolate splendor is SO good to me. I like the unflavored and add it to broth so far.
  24. How did everything go at your docs appt 6/10? Hope all is well! Mona
