I'm having mine on Tuesday, your story helped me ease some of my anxiety. Today is my last day of the liquid diet and I start clear liquids tomorrow. I feel like I know what addicts go through as they overcome their vices as the anxiety I feel is coming from the knowledge that I won't ever be able to stuff myself again. I am so excited for my new life and thank you for the inspiration

I am starting to really feel the nerves, I am on day 5 of the pre-op diet and doing ok, I've lost almost 15 since the day I started on it. I had my pre-op meeting today and they discussed a lot of what would be happening during the surgery and after. I am excited for the change but also I am super super nervous about my life afterwards. I have been addicted to food for so long that I'm just afraid. On the other side of the coin, I can't wait to start living again, especially for things other than food. Anyone with any similar feelings? Please feel free to share
