  1. I really feel that this surgery was easily the best thing I have ever done for myself! I am 15 weeks post op down 48 lbs and feeling incredible!! The first week was tough , but smooth sailing since...best of luck I'm sure you will do great!!!
  2. I'm an ER nurse and I took 7 weeks. I was able to get full pay with disability and sick time to supplement it.
  3. I've been off for 5 weeks, doc didn't want me lifting yet. I work in a crazy busy ER where we see 95k pts a year! I'm going back 8/3 after surgery on 6/16 at this point I'm going to be on soft foods until a week after I get back to work. Then I can resumed a reg diet! I'm pretty attached to my protein shakes, hoping I have time to make one at work!

  5. My surgery was scheduled for 1pm Monday didn't go in until 4. Had a tough time coming out of anesthesia and didn't take in any fluids orally until Tuesday afternoon. I am a nurse and I wanted to ensure I stayed well hydrated and opted to stay the extra night! I never took pain meds after Monday night. I had my first visit with him on 5/1/14 and had the procedure 6 weeks later. My insurance is pretty quick and easy to get approved! If you have any questions I would be happy to answer them!
  6. I feel great! I was in the hospital for 2 nights, bug have been home on my own since! (I live alone) . Have not taken any pain meds since an hour post op! I would recommend him and his staff, they have been wonderful!!
  7. He did my surgery 8 days ago! He is great! His staff is wonderful!!
  8. I was sleeved on the 16th was discharged on 6/18... So far so good!!! I am getting better and better each day!!
  9. Super excited!! Scheduled for 1pm on Monday!!!
  10. I'm checking in on Monday at 11am. Good luck to all having their surgery this week!!!
  11. As of 945 this morning I'm APPROVED!! June 14!!!
  12. Got the call 20 minutes ago..... APPROVED!! June 16 for me!!!!
