My dr told me two weeks. I am a RN my job is more active and she thinks that would be the best.

Just waiting for insurance approval. I attended the Preop class yesterday. The best class and information! That class was awesome, very informative, most helpful one yet. Still on liquids til surgery. Eek! But I can do this. Good luck to everyone,

1 hour and 30 minutes and I will be underway. Next time I log in I will be a post op patient been riding in a car over 4 hours already and won't be to.my destination for another half hour at least. .. so nervous I feel sick! Not so much worried about having surgery just the unknown of after. Please keep me in your prayers today Thoughts and prayers with you as you begin you journey!

Still working towards the date of the 30th. Last week I did my stress, met with Dr Hooper, (surgeon) now the final touches! A preop diet class tomorrow , insurance approval. Then hopefully the 30th! I am so ready to start this journey. I have the support of my family, and the friends I have shared this with. I have chosen not to tell my coworkers at this time. One showed me a picture of her sister who had some type of gastric surgery and said let me show you a picture of her now! Didn't feel the live...lol. Anyway we'll wishes to all on this LIFE changing journey. Am

I too am scheduled for September 30th. I have one more test to complete and am waiting for insurance approval. Needless to say I am nervous, scared, anxious, ready, etc. I am looking for support also. Even though I am a registered nurse, I am not a bariatric nurse I have done a lot of research and will continue to talk with everyone who has done this surgery. I am a sponge, I need answers. I want to know the whys, hows, etc. I am anxious to go through this journey with each of you. Good Luck to us all!!!
