  3. Hi everyone! I'm new. I went to a seminar about the different options for surgery a year ago and let a few things scare me away. But now I'm realizing that this with some help from some supportive people and some therapy to help with my relationship with food, it is the way I want to go. I just turned 30, I just finished my masters degree. and I have a wopping BMI of 52. My condition is beginning to prevent me from living my life. And I of course am looking at (with the help of family) being a self pay. I was wondering what everyone spent on the surgery both here in the U.S and in Mexico. Give me an idea of what I'm looking at. Thanks so much.
