Superbariatricbabe...I was told to walk as tolerated at first. I'm not sure what others have been told. I do know that my doc said 8 weeks out and I can start light weights as well as walking. Hope this helps!

Amylynns...my surgery was supposed to be yesterday! So I've been pushed to Oct 7. Hoping this stupid cold goes away by then! Thank you for the good wishes and sending healing energy your way too!

Hi Everyone! This may be a duplicate of a post I already made but I don't see it so here goes again! I am now an October surgery. I WAS a September surgery (tomorrow) until I got a cold, last night! And boy is it progressing quickly! I'm going to be on a z-pack this week so now my surgery is scheduled for the 7th. Oddly, I feel better about that date. Not like I have a choice anyway! LOL So glad I found y'all!

Well folks...I'm no longer a September surgery. I've had to change my date to October 7th. I am getting a cold and am being put on antibiotics. I'm hoping this will do the trick!! I hope all you September folks have done and are doing and will do great!!

Hi...I'm scheduled for Sept. 30. My surgeon has you wear a binder for 8 weeks. Maybe not right out of surgery? I better ask! Do any of you have to wear the binder or will you have to wait until you heal a bit?
