  1. Thanks for the advice.... and I'll keep reading... I read everything I can get my hands on....
  2. I'm due to be banded on Nov. 27... My Lap-band doctor is Dr. Abkin out of Morristown.... I'd like to lose about 100 lbs..... and I'm really excited at the notion that this could actually be possible for me. I like reading all the other postings of those who've done and those continuing in the struggle to maintain the weightloss, It let's me know there are others like me..... Does anyone have any good advice for someone just starting out?
  3. I am also awaiting the ok from the insurance company to be banded on the 27th of Nov. I am really wondering about the pain-- and when I'll be able to return to work. I have a pretty high pain tolerance -- I've had 2 c-sections, so I figure it can't be worst than that.... but some of these postings are scaring me a little bit... By the way...is everyone on here having the same surgery? Then pain may be different if it's not preformed laparoscopically..... Just wondering.
