  1. I was banded in October 2007, My insurance is BCBS PPO Federal (Houston, TX). If I were you I would go with BCBS PPO, however, be aware that they will only cover the insurance with 2 Co-morbids..... (high blood pressure, sleep Ap, high colesterol, diabetes etc...) No insurance is a gurantee for every patient. Every patient is different. I have type II diabetes and high blood pressure. Since I have a documented history of the co-morbids above and I have been taking meds for them, the insurance approved my insurance within 2 weeks.
  2. I am still bloated as well. Banded on Oct 9 and stopped pain meds today!
  3. I'm doing pretty good. Today has been a really great day for me. I've been on liquids since my surgery. What were you eating before today?
  4. I was banded on October 9th by Dr. R. Marvin. I would also love to participate in a support group in this area. Has anyone adopted a workout regeime?
  5. Wow Jenn. I was also banded on 10/9/2007 but I still feel a bit groggy and will not return to work until next Monday. You are doing GREAT!
  6. I was banded on 10/9/2007 by Dr. R. Marvin in Houston. I have occasional gas pains but for the most part, I'm doing fine. I don't have any complaints or concerns. I'm a little hugry, but I"m able to handle the cravings with Ice and Popcicles.
  7. I was banded on the 9th and I'm not having any issues with Gas or Liquid intake.
