Mini-You look AWESOME!!! I think the change is very noticable!!! And check this out...I knew we were soul sisters...we have the EXACT same picture hanging above our fireplaces!!!!! Isn't that funny?

Dee-I didn't look at you like you had two heads...I was just amazed that a complete stranger was as thoughtful and sweet as you!!! That is a rare trait to come by in a person!! Well, the wedding was tonight, I will try to put up some pics... it is amazing what hairdressers can do. She transformed my stick straight,baby fine chin length bob to this: One of my former coworkers said she didn't even recognize me at first!! That was a pretty good compliment!! Mini-I lost track of what I have lost for the challenge...but I am pretty sure I met my goal. I swear I am getting "old timers". :rolleyes2:

Agreed with Puff Mama!!! And you may not want to hear this....but this is my nursey advice....forgo the Halloween party and rest, push fluids, eat chicken noodle soup, and all that stuff. It will suck to miss your party but it would suck way worse to miss your surgery.

Puff Mama-I am not going to the Marine Corp ball due to the whole mom issue...but things in the love life area are looking up. I get to see comedian guy next week....I am so excited! I really like him.:tt1: But I have been telling my sister that I need to get over it...with the traveling and the distance, it is so not feasible, and I don't want to get my little heart broken! But he is so darn cute that I can't help myself!!

I live in the Quad Cities, which is about 3 hours away! I have lots of friends that live in Chicago.

You were only a few hours away from me in Chicago?? I would have driven up there to meet you!! I'm bummed now!!

Bella- That doesn't sound right for an ER bill....did they give you an itemized bill? It was only $9000 for the bill when my idiot husband ran his truck into a tree, was a trauma alert, and was in the hospital as an inpatient for a day or two. Something is not right. I would question the charges.

Well hurry up and catch up so WE can all catch up. I am going through withdrawals, I miss you guys so much!!!!!

Puff Mama-no weight change for me this week which is fine since I have to fit in a bridesmaid dress in a week that is already to big on my "girls". I'm telling you, I am going to end up flashing everyone at the wedding by accident-I know it....Yikes!!

Thank you Dr.Jamie. I'll have to give you $3.00, I don't have $300 after my very expensive bridesmaid/wedding gift/baby shower gift shopping day yesterday! Mini-that is AWESOME that your trip and your documentary went so well. You will have to let us know when we can all see it! I am so proud of you and your son! This is a very important step for mental health awareness and advocacy! I took care of a paranoid schizophrenic/bipolar pt last week and it was challenging at first for sure, but by the end of the weekend she told me she had never had another nurse like me, that I was the only one that had ever been so compassionate to her. That made me feel so good. I did meet up with Starbucks dude. He is nice, but he is 16 years older than me, and I am kind of trying to get away from the whole older men thing after my husband (even though he acts like he is 4). Starbucks dude does LOVE his dog, which is a major bonus point in his favor!! He asked me to go out again next week to dinner, so we will see what happens. Not sure about comedian dude-he can't take being teased. I was like, "WTH, you're a comedian and you get upset when someone teases you?" Umm, shouldn't that be a job requirement for a comedian or something? I can't hang with someone who can't take being teased because I am a teaser by nature....and it really breaks my heart too because he is adorable otherwise.

Thats awesome Brandy, good luck with your consult. I go for a fill in a few weeks too. I didn't want to go before the wedding, which was a good choice because I went to pick up my bridesmaid dress from being altered today and it is already too big. If I lift my arms up it falls off the girls!!! So now I have to take it back tomorrow to get altered more. Jamie-Yes, it has been very slow here lately. We are not nearly as chatty as normal. Wonder why?

Awww, that is sweet of you. Maybe you can find a little munchkin bobble head or something to be there in place of me. I missed a call from comedian guy while I was with Starbucks guy...I am sad now. :thumbup: I still like comedian guy better.:eek:

I sooo wish I had the money to fly out and hang with you guys! If I did I would be there in a heartbeat!! That would be so fun!!
