  1. Well so far, it's been well worth it. I've had a few issues, mainly pain at the port sight a week after surgery, but I'm happy to announce that's all but gone now. The BIG issue now is the bathroom issue. (as in, I can't be more than 20 feet from one at any given time.) I'm not sure what's going on, but if anyone has any ideas or similar experiences please let me know! Other than that, I'm super happy to be banded and am looking forward to my fill. I'll keep you guys posted. Good luck on your surgery!
  2. Hi Cassandra, I'm having the EXACT same problem. I had my surgery Sept 5th, and since I've 'healed' from the surgery I've been having really bad diarrhea every time I eat, to the point that I can't go too far from the bathroom. (I eat, then it's like within an hour I'm in the bathroom.) It's been like this for about 12 days now. I started eating solid food in small portions again 2 weeks ago, so I'm thinking it has to do with the solid food? I'm actually looking forward to getting filled so maybe I can not go to the bathroom as much?? Any advice would be helpful for me too. And wow- congrats on your weight loss, I've only lost 20 lbs so far, but I'm still happy with what is going on. 20 lbs is 20 lbs! ~AOW:paranoid
  3. Hello everyone, I was looking to join a support group, but the ones in my area weren't doing much, so I thought I'd search on the web and I found this site! (yay). So far I've lost about 20 lbs, but I've stopped losing now because I need to go have my first fill. That is scheduled for Oct. 17th. Looking forward to it!
