Well right now I am really just in the beginning. I have gone through 3 months of the nutrition classes and have done ok. It is still a day to day struggle. I have already been approved for gastric bypass and my surgery date has been set in the couple weeks coming up! I am excited! I see so many of your stories and am in awww of you all!
I am 41 years old and have been overweight primarily all of my adult life. Or should I say all of my parenting life!? I have 3 children and all a bit of 5 or 6 years in between each one. Weight has always been my biggest battle. It has a way of sneaking up on you and before you realize it, it has become a battle that won't stop! I have tried all diets on the market over the last 22 years. Some have helped but nothing ever seems to stay. Mind over matter i guess. I am here today and confident the future will be different! Its a start right?! ;)
