    New to the forum - new to WLS in general. Had my first appt today with the surgeon and talked options. It's between the sleeve and traditional gastric bypass and am currently weighing the pros and cons of the two. Doc thought I'd be a good candidate for either and isn't pushing me strongly one way or the other though I am leaning a little towards the sleeve. I'm currently at my highest weight at 262 and am 5'5" I won't be able to get surgery till 2015 so tentatively planning on next January. But for now I have a lot of hoops to jump though. Probably nothing you guys haven't heard before: psych eval, sleep study, EKG, blood work, dietician, etc etc. I have four follow up appts already made after one day! They mean business. Anyway, just a general introduction. Nice to meet you all.
