  1. I am a month post op and can't shake a cough. I have a productive cough with some phlegm. Has anyone gone thru this?
  2.    ziggypbang reacted to a post in a topic: Bad taste/bad breathe
  3. Thank you guys so much!! This truly helped as I thought I was going crazy. Lol. Whoever came up with this app is a miracle.
  4. Has anyone experienced this bad taste in their mouth? I'm like week 2 out and i can taste the bad smell. It's like the worse side effect ever. I have great oral hygiene and this has never been an issue for me. Any suggestions?
  5. I'm on day three post op. The sleeve was a success. I am not in a lot of pain but I am taking my pain med religiously. In the hospital the biggest issue was passing gas and having a bowel movement. This happened 48hrs later. I can say I don't regret anything and just walking half a mile today felt great. My only issue is that my fingers are still numb. I'll keep you posted on my progress.
  6. I live in Chicago but work in Lake Zurich
  7. Blue Cross is weird but it varies between HMO and PPo. The physicians also play a role in how they want THEIR program to run. This can shorten or lengthen the process. My first doctor took me through 9 months of various testing and my second dr saw me once and then scheduled the surgery.
  8. Great to hear and read the pre and post op discussions. I am set to have my surgery at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. Nervous but excited. Had a bad experience with the North Shore Physician group but now back on track. Please continue to share your stories and they ease the anxiety. Excited about June 25
  9. I am getting my sleeve done at good Shepard and they also didn't require the 6 mo. Bit that is dependent on your insurance
  10. Looking to see how this surgery works from a male perspective. Nervous but excited
