Good Luck! I am scheduled for October sleeve with Dr. Valenzuela. I'm getting a little nervous and getting a lot of negative comments from family members on my decision. I just am tired of fighting the insurance company here in the US. One month I get approved and the next they say I'm not. It's been going on like this for almost 2 yrs. I have a couple of health issues so I need to do this, but so nervous and the family is not helping. I know its only because they're worried but I'm nervous enough. I will be getting my sleeve in September. I'm not sure if I'm going to go through Bariatricpal or through the Mexico Bariatric Center. I would like to use Dr. Louisiana Valenzuela but I'm researching the Bariatricpal doctors and facilities.

I'm considering Dr. Jaime Ponce De Leon or Dr. Lopez through Bariatricpal. I won't be able to schedule mine until August or September so I'm researching them now. I'm also talking to someone from Beliteweight. If anyone has used them, I would appreciate any feedback.

I have a similar story. I have insurance also and have spent the last year fighting with them to get my surgery approved. I was denied just this week for the last time. I decided to have my sleeve in Mexico. I have clinicals that I'm doing this summer for school, so I have to put my surgery off until August or September. I have been looking into Dr. Jaime Ponce De Leon in Tijuana. I have just started looking into the Doctor and trying to find out as much info as I can. Glad I'm not the only one with so many questions. Good luck and I'll share any info I find.
