  1.    PuffyOne2014 reacted to a post in a topic: hoping for lap band to sleeve
  2. I had the original band in 2005 (lost 140 lbs) and just had the sleeve put in on May, 12th..I had the revision of the lap band in 2010 and gained back 60 lbs... band apparently didn't woke. & constantly vomitting. The insurance company did approve the sleeve but I had to go through the six months process. I must say, the recovery was nothing like the revision of the band.. I though did have allot of scar tissue that had to be cleaned up from the band . I went yesterday for my follow up appointment and down 19 lbs... Good luck!
  3. Good Luck!!! All will be fine.. best advise is to walk allot after surgery...
  4. I was sleeved on May 12th and going to surgeon this afternoon for 1st appt. they had to put drain in me so hopefully today it will be removed & hope the scale shows good results... Doing fantastic!!! I was walking around the track on day 5... I'm hoping after today I can start mushy foods or Soups.,,,
  5. You should be able to still have Protein shakes until the day before and then on clear fluids. Drink plenty of Water and stay focus... I know what your going through but it is almost here and it will be so good at the end.,,
  6. I had the sleeve also on Monday 5/12 and feeling fantastic but I'm getting very hungry and getting worried also.. I have an appt on Tuesday with surgeon and that is my first question I will be answering... stay strong,.
