Heading for my leak test then I finally have fluids. Not a drop sine Monday, hopefully it will gone down smoothly. ETA no leak test yet, guess I was misinformed, I am not first. And they have a 10 to do today. Hope I am not last.

my leak test isnot till morning and they even said no swabs. Though big relief, I remembered I had brought my biotene samples toothpaste, mouth tinse, they allowed me to use those.

Made it my doctor does no allow any liquids, ice chip till tomorrow. Meany

He normally has everyone do two weeks liquids and then the cleanse, I had one week liquids and then the cleanse. Cant believe I am still not totally clean at 1 a.m. started at 2 pm but lots of vomiting. Lemme go again. Night guys. wish me luck!

I have to be at the hospital in 5 hours so need to get some shuteye, nighty night! wish me well, hope my doc feels that I have cleansed enough.

still puking, so now they say gatorade and miralax. w/6 ducolax pills. kids have gone to store. and the bit I did keep down is kicking in. Hopefully the vomiting has stopped.

Anyone get sick, vomiting, from the bowel prep. Mine involves 8 ounces of prep every ten minutes and then after an hour, take two different antibiotics (fast dissolving) 2 times an hour apart. Vomited 3 minutes after the first antibiotics, probably everything drank so far. Worried if I cant get my bowel prep done, they will cancel surgery. they have told me to keep going and take the 2nd dose of antibiotics as planned. that will be at 4:25, hopefully they will stay down. It will give the doc thirty minutes to figure out plan B.

Could it be lactose intolerance?

I talked to my doctor's office this morning, they said no protein for the two days, of course. After surgery, they don't have you start on protein until the 4th day, either. Guess the two days before is to get your stomach used to it prior to surgery. I will only be working on clear liquids/ broth for the three days post surgery also. ARGHHH!

hey another question, at what point did you start taking biotin, or what did you do for the hair loss.

my two day clear liquids allowed for only clear sugar free drinks, and broths. They didn't say I could add protein, so basically, I have had a couple grams of protein, and I screwed up with the Powerade zero, bought the wrong ones so I had 260 calories and 70 carbs from that. Dont think the broths had much more to add to that.

I just read this, I hope you are ok, may I ask what happened so that you lost a lot of blood and needed transfusions. Hope the nose bleeds stop soon.
