  1. Hi everyone, I had my surgery 4/29/14 and I have been able to take my synthroid medication just fine but I'm super worried it isn't absorbing right. I had thyroid cancer in match 2010 and had a total thyroidectomy and it is crucial the my meds absorb. Anyone have the same or similar things happen to then? I have felt super tired allllll day long, cold intolerance ( it's been in the 100's here all week) ... I feel cold all the time and just blah. I'm worried my meds aren't working with my new stomach. Today was hard! I had my sleeve done on 4/29/14 so I am almost at 2 weeks. Last night I made my whole in-law family dinner (pulled pork sandwiches with all the fix'ns) and today I made my mom and immediate family dinner (Asian lettuce wraps) .... I am still I the full liquid stage so I had to sit with everyone and drink my stupid protein shake! I wanted food so bad I just hope I'm not the only one going completely crazy!!!
  4. Hi, I was reading this thread trying to see if anyone had posted about something that I am worried about... No luck I had my surgery on 4/29/14 and I am still on a full liquid diet. I was having a hard time getting all my fluid in and protein. Now I am doing much better but tonight I had some turkey gravy for dinner and had 1 and 1/4 cup!! I didn't think I was supposed to be able to have that much... I didn't even feel full. I am just worried that I had too much and didn't even feel full. I guess I'm just feeling like the surgery was a failure and I won't lose the weight...
