  1. I am visiting Kissimmee and do need a fill. Can anyone suggest where to go? I think there is a Dr. in Celebration. Please advise. Thanks!
  2. I see those whose ports flipped had theirs reversed. My Dr. said there was no problem leaving it flipped :help: ????????????
  3. Anyone out there from Montreal who went to Dr. Christou? He's fabulous if you're looking for a dr.
  4. I also have a large band and it's half filled. I have restrictions when I start eating but then can eat quite a bit and not get full easily. Does this mean I need another fill?
  5. You'll do just fine. Just be patient. It's better when the pounds come off slowly.
  6. Welcome Canadians and good luck to you.
  7. Yes, I'm Canadian, from Montreal. I was banded by Dr. Christou.
  8. I would love to attend but I will be away til Sept.27/28. The following weekend would be perfect for me. Has the date been confirmed? I don't mind any east coast location. It's the date that is more important. I know it's difficult to accommodate all so I'll just keep watching to see the date and location. Have a great time!!!!

You all sound like such a nice group. It would be great to meet you however we have already planned our vacation on the EAST coast. When you get together agian, hopefully I'll be available to meet you. Have a great time!!!!!
  10. I have been married 40 years with a great guy (most of the time, haha). If your relationship does not start out with lots of love, respect and understanding, there is no hope it will last through the highs and lows that life sends your way. With the lapband surgery, it will be alot easier to get through the first few weeks without worrying about someone else. We all have choices for what we do with our lives and there is noone else to blame. We are where we put ourselves. So take the steps you need to make your life how you want it. Good luck!!
  11. Hi Canadian boy!!I also had my banding done by Dr. Christou last week. He is wonderful. How are you feeling now after a couple of weeks have passed? I'm still having a bloated feeling with some pain from the gas specially in my shoulder. Someone suggested GasX which I'll try tomorrow. Good luck! From a Canadian lady, Mary
  12. I just had my surgery on July 5th and feel so bloated, very gassy. How long does it take to feel "normal" and no pain?
