    Hi, I am a school administrator and I had the surgery after school got out in June. I was feeling good after a week but I was still significantly sore. I would recommend you get it done over summer break. It will give your body time to heal and you can take things slow. Having this surgery is the best thing I have ever done for myself!! Good luck in your journey!

    @dreamondreamer.....We can be surgery buddies since our surgery date is the same!!!! I am really really excited. Like most of us, I have struggled with weight all my life but it became an even greater struggle due to a partial hysterectomy at 31 and then the last ovary being taken out 3 years ago. I feel like I am finally going to have a tool that will help me in my journey to be healthy. I have anxiety too but I am confident that everything will work out well. We will have to stay in touch and encourage each other. I am so glad that I found this forum. This journey is not meant to be taken alone and I am so glad to among friends
