  1. Thank you so much for the encouragement. I definitely started to feel defeated as if the process wouldn't work for me. I'm just going to be patient and trust the process..
  2. That's the thing, I have not been getting nearly as much water as I am supposed to :-( if I increase my water intake, will that make a difference in my weightloss?
  3. I am 2 weeks post op and I'm already at a stall!!!! How is this possible? I lost 12lbs my first week and 0 my 2nd. What am I doing wrong or is this normal?
  4. Do you mind me asking, how much did you lose so far in your journey?
  5. Wow u look great!!! I can't wait until I post my before and after lol.. It's hard NOT to compare yourself to others but I have to keep reminding myself to stay focus so I to can be a success story. Keep up the good work!
  6. I had my surgery on April 29th at Penn hosp in phila and I must say it was the best decision I ever made thus far! After 1 week of full liquids my nutritionist graduated me to the next phase, purée. I swear tuna fish never taste so good lol. I keep hearing from vsg veterans that once u start eating foods again that your taste buds will change. So far everything that I've eaten taste how it always taste. At what point will my taste buds change, if at all?
  7. I wish! I have to wait 2 weeks before I go to puréed foods, mooshy foods never seemed so appetizing lol..
  8. I had my surgery on April 29th and I didn't have much of an appetite for days. It wasn't until yesterday I started to feel "hungry" but quickly realized that gas pains mimic hunger pains and I just focused on sipping (as it relieves gas) and trying to move around.
