1. Hey Charise, I live in Monticello, GA (out in the country), I guess approx 50 miles SE of Atlanta, not sure I'm a terrible "estimator." My friend really liked Dr. Lin. I look forward to his seminar in November. Keep me posted on your progress!!
 2. Thanks buttercup for your response. One of my best friends was banded by him approx 1-2 yrs ago and she is doing great, has lost 70-80 pounds so far with not much more to go. I was just trying to see if anyone else had any experiences here in Georgia. I go to one of Dr. Lin's seminars in November and can't wait. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of BCBS do you have? I have the POS and have a written exclusion policy but my friend has the same exact policy and her band was approved. I hope I'm that lucky!! Keep me posted on your experience. Where do you live??
 3.
I have scheduled seminars w/ 3 different docs here in GA. I want to find out all I can, am an avid researcher. The three docs I am considering are Dr. McKernan, Dr. Lin, and Dr. Dennis Smith. I was wanting to hear from former/current patients and hear your stories!! Any info will be helpful.

Thanks!!

 4. I live in Monticello, GA and haven't been banded yet but I have scheduled seminars w/ a Dr. McKernan (spell ??) I think he's in Woodstock, and Dr. Lin and w/ Dr. Dennis Smith. Want to hear all the info I can and hope insurance will pay but if not, will find another way!! Good to hear from others in GA!
